15 month checkup

We had Lucy's 15 month check up last week. She is growing like a weed - literally! She grew over and inch and a half in 3 months! She is now 31.5 inches (which is the 85th percentile for her age) - at her one year appointment she was in the 50%-60th percentile)! Maybe she'll be taller than we thought!

She now weighs 22lbs 9 oz. (48% percentile). Which kinda makes me laugh considering she was almost 9 pounds when she was born!

I think I've heard they say most babies triple their birth weight by their first birthday! At this rate I'm not sure we'll hit 27 pounds until she is at least 2! :) Haha.

But the overall report is she is doing perfect and is happy and healthy! Couldn't ask for anything better!

Lucy LOVES walking in my red high heels!

Her favorite new slippers! Elmo!

This was taken after I left the kitchen for a moment! :)

Who needs toys when you have a pantry to play with?!?

Back to real world...

We made it home from our vacation safe and sound! It was a great vacation and the weather was perfect! We have been going to Hilton Head for over 20 years and I can't remember a time that the weather was better!

We did have a bit of turbulence on the way there...okay scratch that...it was more than turbulence. The plane actually started turning on it's side...to the left, and right and left... Marcus' gets a little nervous on planes and let out a very loud "OH MY GOSH" (which in retrospect is semi funny) - but even I have to admit there was a 10 seconds where it was pretty scary. It reminded us of the first few minutes of the first episode of LOST - before the plan started breaking apart :)

Then, on the way home the lady sitting in front of Marcus passed out and was having lots of medical problems. They think she had a heart attack. We landed in Louisville, KY and when they got her off the plane she was doing "okay" - we pray she got the care she needed. But needless to say, our flights were a little out of the ordinary!

We got in on Friday afternoon and stayed until the following Saturday. We had lots of great days of fun at the pool/beach, bike rides, eating out, cooking out, fireworks, shopping, golf (Marcus), and NAPS (my favorite)! :)

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip.
