This summer we started keeping our eyes open for bigger homes in the area. We loved our home, but without a basement we were really running out of space. At the beginning of the summer I went through a home I liked, but we weren't all that serious at that point, and it was the first house I had even been in with a realtor. The summer passed and we saw a few more homes and nothing compared to the first house I had seen. So, towards the end of the summer, I checked, and the house was still on the market and had come down considerably in price. We went through it a few more times and, decided to put a contingency offer on it - they accepted and we put our current house on the market. I'll spare you the details, but in the end, we bought the new house and sold our first home! We moved into the new house at the end of November and closed on the sale of our first home at the beginning of December. It was a insane, crazy and a total whirlwind (and add Thanksgiving and Christmas into the mix) but we are finally "semi" moved in and enjoying our new home. It was bittersweet saying goodbye to our house on 7th, it was our first home together - the home we brought our babies home to - but it was time. Lucy still talks about her "old room" and "old house" and asks why we can't go back. She doesn't quite understand why someone else lives there now. It makes me a little sad that she probably won't remember that house, but at least it's only 5 minutes away and we can drive by and wave every once and a while!
Here's a pic of the new house! (I just realized I don't have a picture, so I took it from google maps. It at least gives you an idea! :)

We had a great Christmas!

And we went to Disney World! (I'll try to do another blog about this)

and finally...Happy Belated Valentines Day from my little sweethearts!
